In-house Presentations
Our workshops and short courses can be presented on a contracted, in-house basis with some degree of customization permitted.
In making your enquiries or requests, please be mindful that we:
- Typically book such commitments well in advance of the required presentation date(s);
- Need adequate instructional space and logistical support (depending on the presentation);
- Prefer a minimum audience of 20 participants;
- Usually provide supplementary materials at no cost (except for books when requested);
- Will prepare a complete outline of needs and costs for your consideration.
We will not compress existing courses to fit a timeline of less than a day. However, we do offer a minimal number of four-hour workshops based on topics covered in our current programs and courses which are described elsewhere. These four-hour workshops are not available to the public.
For example, we offer a half-day workshop/presentation entitled “What Makes Winning Negotiators (Consistently) Successful? Some Attributes to Emulate.” The session does not deal with the art, process, principles or dynamics of negotiating but rather, as the title implies, the ten critical characteristics that define successful negotiators.
Among the concepts discussed in this presentation are the following: The conceptual framework for achieving 80-80 outcomes; principles of planning; understanding the human dimension: getting people to do your bidding; our cultural weaknesses as negotiators; the critical importance of one’s aspiration level; communication essentials (beyond the basics): phrasing to induce perceptions; listening for critical information; translation and alignment; the language of hidden meanings; understanding non-verbal cues; becoming an inventive negotiator; time and timing: when to say “no” and when to stop; the price of your wants; personal awareness and self-confidence; the essence of win-win negotiating.
Similarly, we do offer a half-day presentation on Building High Performance Teams.
